Sonnets and Sondheim

Hello and welcome to 2011! The beginning of a new year usually means resolutions, a fresh slate, out with the old and in with the new, and lots of planning for the year to come. Endstation is no different, and we are very excited about the year ahead and the upcoming summer season.

While we are busy in planning mode, we are kicking off the year with our annual Sonnets and Chocolates event on Saturday February 12, 2011. If you have not previously had the pleasure of attending this amazing night, you won't want to miss out this year, as it is shaping up to be the best one yet! Fabulous MC's, a variety of performances, fantastic wine, and of course lot's of desserts and chocolate.

So why not grab some friends and purchase a table, or make it a date night with your loved one, whatever you do make sure you get your tickets soon as they are going fast! We guarantee you will have a great time while simultaneously supporting the upcoming summer 2011 festival.

We don't slow down for a minute as the next item on the agenda will be the first set of auditions for the 2011 Summer season. Auditions for Endstation's production of Assassins will take place on Saturday February 19, 2011.

This most American of musicals lays bare the lives of nine infamous historical figures, who forged their way into our history books for their assassinations (or attempted assassinations) of some of our American presidents. Assassins explores the American experience in profound and startling ways, with a musical score by one of the most accomplished musical theatre composers, Stephen Sondheim.

Auditions are by appointment only, so make sure to secure your spot by e-mailing company@endstationtheatre.org to arrange your specific audition time, and find out additional information.

Lots of exciting things coming up so keep checking back here, the endstation website, facebook, and twitter for additional happenings as the year progresses.

Hope to see you all soon!

Cheers~
